Demolition Estimator

We are looking for a Demolition Estimator to work out of our Cincinnati, OH office location.

The successful candidate must have extensive and demonstrable experience in estimating Industrial and Commercial demolition projects.  You must possess excellent client interaction capabilities, computer skills in addition to the ability to read plans and specifications which are required to prepare accurate take offs, pricing, bids, proposals and budgets.  Previous experience in power plant processing and facility demolition and decommissioning is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in business development activities with clients
  • Bring energy and commitment to the company team environment
  • Generate accurate and profitable bids
  • Provide creative and workable solutions to ensure successful and profitable projects
  • Prepare accurate project budgets
  • Provide support for project management and operations teams
  • Uphold the company vision, mission, and values

Qualifications

  • Five years of experience bidding large ($500K plus) demolition projects
  • Extensive knowledge
    • Blueprints and project specifications
    • Performing quantity take-offs
    • Preparing comprehensive estimates
    • Bid review presentations
    • Preparing final bids
    • Bid follow-up and securing the order
  • Excellent computer/written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Schedule)
  • Knowledge of construction management software a plus
