Nuprecon, CST Environmental and MARCOR Environmental Complete Integration, Announce New Name “NCM”National network, deep expertise, enable company to manage projects of any size, any complexity
(July 12, 2011) BREA, Calif. –Nuprecon, CST Environmental, and MARCOR Environmental, three award-winning demolition and remediation specialty contractors, announced the completion of a multi-year integration process to bring the three companies under one brand. NCM is now a single-source contracting option for commercial, industrial or government projects of any size or complexity. With 23 offices, more than 2,000 employees and more than $220 million in annual sales, NCM is one of the largest providers of demolition and remediation services in the United States. NCM has also launched a new website www.ncmgroup.com.
The combination of the three companies now gives clients the benefit of a locally-staffed office backed by the national infrastructure of NCM, including proprietary software and best practices for project management, finance and bonding. As part of the integration process, NCM unified its corporate management team. Nuprecon’s CEO John Hennessy is now Chairman of the Board of Directors; CST Environmental’s CEO Sage Khara is now President and CEO of NCM; and Dave Jungers, President of MARCOR Environmental is now COO of NCM. NCM services will be provided through two separate operating entities, but marketed and housed under one brand, NCM.
“This step is the realization of a key milestone in a process we began in 2006,” said Sage Khara. “We have the capitalization, the management structure and the national footprint of people, equipment and processes to provide even more services and better results to our customers. We are expanding our employee and customer base across the country.”
Financially secure with private equity from Evergreen Pacific Partners, and with one of the best safety records and bonding capacities in the industry at more than $100 million, the company aims to grow market share by expanding in existing geographies and service areas, attracting top individual talent, and making strategic acquisitions.
“Given the fragmentation in the market and the aftereffects of the recession, very few companies now have the ability to fully staff and source large and complex projects,” said Khara. “We believe our approach offers the best option for customers looking for a single contractor that can successfully and safely manage even the most challenging assignments.”
NCM offers a wide variety of specialty contracting services, including: asset recovery; plant decommissioning and dismantling; structural, site and precision demolition; hazmat and brownfield remediation; LEED waste management; asbestos and lead abatement; microbial remediation and disaster recovery.
